logo ucmThe Complutense University of Madrid is a public University, The official degrees taught in its centres cover practically all areas of knowledge.

The range of educational degrees offered at the Complutense University comprises a wide variety of specialty areas, including the new Bachelor's Degrees adapted to the European Higher Education Area as well as the 5 year Degrees.
The Complutense University also has the Complutense Center for Teaching Spanish, specifically for the management and coordination of Spanish studies for foreigners, Spanish culture and Spanish language teacher education. Another activity of the Complutense Center for Teaching Spanish are the Spanish classes for Immigrants as part of an agreement with the Department of Immigration  and cooperation of Teachers and Volunteer Resources, teaching Spanish immigrants in any of the fifteen Centers for Integration and Participation of Immigrants (CEPI) of Madrid Community.

The School of Education has agreements with organizations and NGOs providing education and social integration to immigrants for the practical training of students in bachelor's degree in Social Education and students in the program of Master of Advanced Studies in Social Education also involved in these institutions.

The University will support the LUCIDE network by inputting to its research and dissemination activities, by organising survey work in Madrid and contributing to the seminars and Conference.  Specifically the University will organise a major seminar in Madrid and will coordinate work on Quality Assurance
