The city of Agioi Anargyroi – Kamatero is situated at the center of the western side of Athens. It aspires at developing itself into a modern, pioneering Municipality able to offer high level services to its, almost, 60.000 inhabitants.

The Municipal Administration aims at offering to the inhabitants the best possible services in sectors such as administration, education, environment, constructions, social welfare. In the city, live and work many immigrants, so the municipal administration views the immigrant issue as a reality which can bring about many positive consequences for the local society. So, special emphasis is given to the immigrants through the Social Service of the Municipality.

In addition, the Municipality is active in participating in programmes devised by the European Union and international organizations, focusing on the areas of new technologies, research, social welfare.
